 The Gosforth Village Show 2007 The Gosfroth Show was held this year as normal in 2007 we do not have any photos though , if you have any please send them in !! The show was held on the 16 August 2006 Despite a poor forecast and some grey looking clouds the showday was a great one with sun and blue sky in the main, and no rain!
Hundreds of people gathered to wathc the events and walk around the stalls, and of course we were there too. We will have the results in full in here in due course but in the mean time please find below a movie of the day and a whole set of photos For more information please click here 17 August 2005 The sun came out today for the Gosforth show as thousands of people made their way to the show ground just outside the village. As usual there was a mixture of events, ranging from the traditional aspects of the show in the form of the farming side of things, as well as the less traditional games section of the show. The various marquees were hot in the sun, but everyone seemed happy watching the horse events, the dog events and the judging of the many different classes of competition. Children were well catered for with bouncy castle and competitors and many local charities also attended to be on hand to discuss their work. The photographs below show a walk around the show filed as I went and sampled all of the delights the show had to offer.
